Crafted from reclaimed spalted tamarind, Midnight Current highlights the remarkable patterns created by time and nature. After the tree falls, it is intentionally left on the forest floor for two to three years, allowing natural spalting to develop—forming the distinctive gray lines and intricate character woven throughout the wood.
Paired with deep midnight-toned resin, the flowing composition evokes winding tidal channels after dark, where rich wood grain and bold contrast create a sense of depth and movement.
